“In late 2008, NAMSGlobal, a professional association of marine surveyors based in the U.S., submitted an FRP to four different Rails website developers. Nedforce was not the lowest bid on this initial proposal, however, they asked many questions and made suggestions which allowed us to revise our FRP which we again submitted to the same four developers. Again, Nedforce was not the lowest bid (they were close), we chose them to develop our project and we have been extremely happy with their work. Nedforce first developed an online membership database, replacing the MS Access database on our local machine, to provide real time information to our “Find A Marine Surveyor” search function. Nedforce then redeveloped our non-functioning website, more specifically the find a surveyor search function which allows the public to find a marine surveyor in a particular geographical location. Our website audience can now, quickly and easily, find a marine surveyor to conduct their job in any location where a NAMSGlobal member surveyor works.
