Earth Aid – Get Paid for Lowering Home Energy Usage

A recent Intridea project that launched on Earth Day 2009, Earth Aid is new service designed to help consumers reduce energy consumption and then reward them for their savings. Earth Aid is the first service that brings carbon offset trading down to the individual level, as previously carbon offsets had only been tracked and traded at the big business level.

This project required the design & development of a new web application intended for widespread use. With the goal of attaining a broad audience of residential households across the nation, Intridea knew that an engaging and usable design would be of vital importance. Nothing less would deliver the quality of user experience Earth Aid needed.

Since launching, Earth Aid has received much positive acclaim in the community, having been featured on The Washington Post, National Public Radio, and more.
